Solidaridad participated as the Sustainability Partner in the Regional Policy Dialogue on 'Climate Change & Its Impact on Agriculture' organized by Sustainability Matters and IndiAgri on May 14, 2025, in Bhopal. The event served as a powerful call to action, bringing together different stakeholders to address the urgent intersections of climate change, agriculture, and sustainability.

The Dialogue featured panel discussions on 'Climate-Resilient Agriculture: Adapting to Changing Weather Patterns' and 'Sustainable Water Management in Agriculture: Conservation and Productivity'. The sessions sparked robust discussions on key themes such as climate resilience, sustainable farming practices, water conservation, and carbon management in agriculture.

In addition to Solidaridad, the event saw participation from leading scientists, climate experts, journalists, and subject specialists, making it a rich platform for knowledge exchange and policy advocacy.

Another highlight of the event was the awards ceremony, where outstanding contributors to agriculture and rural development were felicitated by the Minister of Co-operation, Sports, and Youth Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Vishvas Kailash Sarang. Awardees supported by Solidaridad included:

     • Nico Roozen Centre of Excellence for Regenerative Agriculture

     • Bharatkhand Consortium of Farmer Producer Companies Limited

     • Sanjana Bamaniya (rural entrepreneur associated with Bharatkhand).

     • Shivendra Singh Rajput (rural entrepreneur associated with Bharatkhand).

     • Dilip Dhakad (honey bee farmer and entrepreneur associated with Bharatkhand).
