Bharatkhand Consortium of Farmer Producer Company Ltd., honored with the STAR Community Empowerment Award-2025, along with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000, for its outstanding contribution to empowering Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and rural entrepreneurs. The award recognizes Bharatkhand’s efforts in strengthening market linkages and enhancing the agricultural value chain.
The award was presented by the Science and Technology Applications Remodel (STAR) Society, Jaipur, Rajasthan, as part of the conference "Current Trends in Agricultural Research and Extension Services: Shaping the Future of Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security”, held on 23-25 February 2025. The event witnessed the participation of 29 FPOs from Madhya Pradesh, including Bharatkhand.
Key discussions at the conference focused on government plans for FPOs, marketing strategies, product development, and various schemes available for FPOs. Eminent national-level scientists, senior researcher from across the country provided valuable insights and guidance to the participating FPOs. Additionally, all FPOs showcased their work and shared their experiences through presentations.
